I would buy it just to support ANet, after such an amazing chapter 1, and such great support, they deserve the extra money no matter how good the next chapter is.
So many people here are talking about buying it for the new PvE content, but im all for PvP myself, gotta stay competitive.

Yes, I'm going to buy it almost regardless of further information. The two new classes are enough to add new depth to PvP. PvE is just frosting: Too much if it makes you sick, but it's nice to go through it once before you get to the real content.

My copy is already paid for, I just gotta go pick it up on release day (at Gamestop/Babbages). I know it would've been cheaper online, but local shipping services have a tendency to, ahem, misplace packages for days at a time, much to my chagrin. So I'll just get it from the store. To make a long story short, yes, I will be getting the new chapter.

P.S. Anet, please please please give us at least two character slots.

First: why would you put PvE stuff on a PvP character anyway? If it was just PvP unlocked stuff then go ahead and delete, PvP unlock stays unlocked and can be used for any PvP character.

Second: we were told in advance how this was going to work. Use a free slot for the weekend when it is over it is locked until next preveiw or untill release, if you use the free code and you liked the preview you can save the character by purchasing the real game.

I am gonna wait to see what Anet gives us for the price. If Factions is going to be $50 then it should be worth $50 and have @ least the same amount of content that Prophecies(GW Chapter 1 now has a name) had. ie: 4 character slots , a map as large as Prophecies etc...

So far what I've seen/heard about Factions doesn't impress me much.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'll buy it. The $50 sticks in my craw a bit, since I know a portion of that is paying for their development of PVE content I don't want to play but will have to anyway for unlocking. But the PVP is good enough to hold my nose and buy the game anyway.
